As a writer and stylist, it has been my job to search out great Texas design—but I've always thought it was also my good fortune to have a job that depended on people opening their homes and allowing me a first-hand view of their take on style. It's an insider's privilege to see these houses, and it's a privilege that I am passing on to you. I hope you enjoy seeing fascinating, imaginative, and significant houses that are completely unique to Texas—they aren't like anything you'll see any place else!
