My, how time flies! Two Hills Studio was founded 30 years ago—in 1987—by architect Britt Medford as a response to an unfulfilled demand he had noticed: The void in the field of decorative light fixtures that architects and designers could customize to a project. Already an accomplished design professional, Medford knew he could fill that vacuum with handsome fixtures for inside and outside the house. Since then the Two Hills’ product line has expanded to offer other metal work such as
cabinet door panels, vent hoods, mirror frames and elements of architectural decoration.
Medford and his team of artisans blend metals in various finishes with glass, acrylic, mica, and mirrors and have developed a number of handsome finishes for their line of products.
While the fixtures look great during the daytime, the Two Hills’ trademark light and shadow patterns give a dramatic effect when illuminated.

Two Hills fixtures have been used in custom residences, multi-family developments, office buildings, retail stores, shopping centers, banks, restaurants, ecumenical projects, retirement communities, movie theaters, hotels, and casinos.
