The antiquing and cultural trip specialist, The Vagabond International, introduces its Designer-in-Residence series with a trip to Provence accompanied by design visionaries Tim and Carol Hicks Bolton (founders of the original Homestead in Fredericksburg and current owners of Carol Hicks Bolton Antiquites and Laboratoire de Design). The couple will join the group as they shop out-of-the-way markets and will share their years of experience and knowledge of the region with tour members. This is a nine-day excursion that will include a private cocktail and dinner party where Carol will discuss design and inspiration.
Vagabond International trips are personalized for women who love old and beautiful things, enjoy seeing foreign destinations, thrive on getting to know locals, and look forward to exploring the country area or region in an intimate way. Vagabond International owner Mary Baskin has 30 years’ experience in the interior design and antiquing business. She has also worked for and produced interior design articles for publications such as Traditional Home, Better Homes and Gardens, and Country Home. Mary has traveled and researched unique European locales to provide her tour members with exclusive views into private homes, castles, and shopping.
